Great to meet you

“I am dedicated to empowering Black men and men in Douglasville and beyond — providing culturally centered, evidence-based, faith-integrated mental health care that breaks the stigma around depression, anxiety, and trauma, and builds lasting emotional resilience and relational well-being.”

More than fifteen years in the helping field sit behind that. In practice it shows up as plain language instead of clinical vocabulary, and as tools you leave the session holding — something to use on the drive home, not a concept to admire.

How the work is done

The work is built around the African American experience specifically. A room where you have to explain the background before you can get to the problem is a room where less gets done, and that is the step this practice skips. Faith belongs in that room too — as much or as little as you want it there.

What to expect

Some men come in with one clear problem and finish in a couple of months. Others stay longer, because what surfaced turned out to be older than the thing that brought them in. Both are normal. You set the pace, and the plan is shaped around you rather than fitted to a program.

Just like your body, your mental health thrives on routine check-ups and proactive care. When you're facing life's peaks and valleys, having a dedicated guide makes all the difference.
